I think we’ve all been there. You write your first e-book or get ready to sell your first product, when it is time for your e-book launch, you sit down and wait… and wait for the sales to roll in – but no sales or may I say the number of sales that came through was not as you have hoped.
At this point, you wonder if there is any other thing you should have done differently to enhance your product launch or is there a special formula for launching a product that will result in increase sales that you should have done. Thousands of thoughts came through your mind and you kept on wondering if there is something you are missing with the new product introduction process that would have increase sales and give you the opportunity to make more money online.

Before we look into what was missing in your product launch process, let us examine the product launch phases, to see if you actually gone through the three standard product launch phases.
There are 3 phases to product or service launch.
Phase 1 – Pre-Launch phase is where you build a list of prospective buyers in your target audience. In this phase you create and tweak your sales process until it is rock solid and you create a buzz for the product which will promote awareness.
Phase 2 – Launch phase, “Launch Day”, is the day that all your influential partners will help to promote your product. To help increase sales, you put some kind of limit or deadline on your promotional offer – so that you can get as much sales as possible.
Phase 3 – Post-Launch phase has two different parts to it, first part is where you create an educational follow-up series with additional bonuses to prevent buyers’ remorse and reduce refund. The second part is to figure out how you will continue making more sales so that your site will not just have the launch spike and then died.
These 3 phases may seem simple when you read it the way I put it, the truth of the matter is that only few marketers are able to pull them off because as simple as they look, they are very complex in the sense that you need to follow the process in that order. Missing or not applying any phase properly may hinder the success of the product launch.
The simple part is the fact that you know the steps to launch a product, the complex part is there are many stages to complete each phases which require the expertise and influence of other people – the more influential or successful those people are, the more successful each launch phase would be.
